The Snow of 2010

Getting through this historic weather event is an incredible experience. The first few days saw a lot of new "community spirit" at Watergate at Landmark. We had a terrific happy hour on Friday night, 2/5. Met some fun and interesting people. The Egyptian who brought Champagne and joined with the rest of us drinking a few was rather creepy once we found out that it was his pregnant sister who was outside watching the kids play in the snow because she was Muslim and couldn't be around us drinkers.
The next day I took some photos off the balcony:
Saturday afternoon I had a terrific massage from a professional massage therapist who lives in Bldg 2. This was followed by a fun game of TX Hold'em with friends from Bldgs 1 & 2. Sunday just read the Post and finished Grafton's "P" novel. Later went to the Super Bowl Party in the Community Center. George and I were surprised that we were the only Saints supporters there - guess we were surrounded by a bunch of Yankees. Still it was a lot of fun, especially during the 2nd half.
Today I worked from home and read more of Paul Strathern's The Artist, The Philosopher, and the Warrior.
