Spring is Here!

George and I desperately need to work out and practice our photography in order to prepare for our  big trip next month.  Finally it was warn enough today to take a hike through Dyke Marsh and take some photos.

This is the exciting shot of the day - a mom Bald Eagle on her nest.

George checking his lens.

A couple of ducks came by to check us out.

I edited out the color just to see which I prefer.  George always prefers black & white.  Sorry, I see the world in color.

Lots of fishermen enjoying the day.

I only got a photo of this cigar boat.  There were 3 racing but at least they were on the opposite side of the river because they were really LOUD.

National Harbor across the river.

Condos on the Virginia side of the Potomac.

The Woodrow Wilson Draw Bridge across the Potomac River.  Some day I'm going to get a photo of the bridge open and a large ship going through.
